Doctrinal Statement

Doctrinal Statement

ARTICLE I

In alignment with the Chicago Statement on Biblical Inerrancy 1978, the Bible is inerrant, divinely inspired and infallible in all of its teachings.

2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21

ARTICLE II

God is triune, one Being eternally existing in three co-equal Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

Genesis 1; John 1:1-3; Hebrews 1:1-3; Deuteronomy 6:4: Ephesians 4:4-6; Acts 5:3-4; 1 Corinthians 8:6; 1 Timothy 2:5; John 14:9-10, 26; Matthew 28:18-19; 2 Corinthians 13:14; Revelation 4:11

ARTICLE III

Jesus Christ is God very God. He was conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary. He took upon Himself our nature, upon the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice for the sin of the world. He arose from the dead in the body in which He was crucified. He ascended into heaven in that body glorified, where He is now King. He will come again personally and visibly to set up His kingdom.

Colossians 1:15; Philippians 2:5–8; Matthew 1:18–25; 1 Peter 2:24–25; Luke 24; Hebrews 4:14–16; Acts 1:9–11; 1 Thessalonians 4:16–18; Matthew 25:31–46; Revelation 11:15–17; 20:4–6, 11–15

ARTICLE IV

Mankind was created in the image of God. God determines mankind’s entire identity, nature and purpose. Mankind fell into sin, and, in that sense, is lost. A person must be born again to enter the kingdom of God.

Genesis 1:26–27; Romans 3:10, 23.New Paragraph
